I am a UX Design student, landed a good UI/UX Internship couple months (or this is what I thought). The JD was a very real UX role, for example, taking user interviews, site maps, wireframes, etc. So honestly, someone with a graphic design background with a very strong urge to get into research, this felt great. Now it's been 3 months, and all that I'm doing here is creating social media posts, banners etc. I've talked to internal people, Asked for help from my university (this was a college placement from my master's program), but I have received no help. The only way that I can get out of this is if I get a new job, but I always feel so drained after work that I'm just not able to build a better portfolio and seek a good role. I feel stuck and depressed. I dropped my decent career to study for a master's just so i could get closer to something I've always felt I was passionate about. But here I am on a Monday writing this post because, honestly, I feel a little helpless. #art source
