Hire a roofer or general contractor to replace my roof?
I got a quote to replace my roof for 15,000, but the general contractor that’s currently working on my house gave me a quote to do it for 12.
He’s actually doing a full new build in my neighborhood for some ADUs, and him and his team just finished the roof over there. All of the work they’ve done so far has been really good.
I’m just wondering if it’s worth it to save 20% and not go with a specialized roofer to replace my roof. My roof also does have solar panels on it.
