Whenever someone tries to explain something to me, I simply can't hear what they say. I hear the words, and I know they're obviously trying to explain something to me, but I just can't comprehend, especially if their explanation is longer than two minutes, then there's like no chance for me to understand what they said at all,
I get very uncomfortable, and I want to go home after these kinds of interactions. Unfortunately, I don't benefit from their better explanations, and even if I do, I forget it immediately because it led me to discomfort because someone was talking directly to me and looking at me,
I understand things pretty well if the person who explains is explaining to several people and doesn't look at me. It's so irritating that a supposedly better explanation doesn't actually help and only puts me in an awkward situation and after they're done explaining I just say thank you without understanding absolutely anything,
yes literally nothing. I wish I knew what to do but whatever causes me discomfort my brain keeps giving me signals that I need to go to a quieter place without eyes staring at me #relationships source
