#OnceUponATime 1. This is a 48 year-old photo taken at home during our town fiesta, a simple but memorable moment from my younger years. 😊
2. My older sister was with me that day. She was the one who took this picture, so, she was not seen in the photo.
3. I was in 3rd year high school at that time. It was also my first year after transferring from an ALL-GIRLS SCHOOL in the city, to a private school in our hometown where boys and girls studied together, so everything felt new and exciting for me. Our school had a Citizen Army Training (CAT) - Pass and Review presentation during the fiesta and I became the partner of our Company Commander. I remember feeling happy and relieved because I was not required to undergo the actual training (CAT), since I was physically weak and not very fit back then. That moment became one of my first steps in becoming more active and joining extra curricular activities in school.
4. This memory still matters to me because, it made me realized and think of a simple season of growth, courage and new beginnings. Looking back at this 48 year-old photo made me realized too how time changes many things, I am now 61 yrs old. But the happiness, innocence and dreams i carried in my youth remain forever in my heart. ♥️
