I superglued a magnet backwards into wood. How can I remove it? I already tried acetone with no luck.
It’s a 1/4 magnet and destroying the magnet is fine, but I would like to protect the wood if possible. I already tried to get acetone into the space around the magnet, but it’s flush and most of the glue is below the magnet anyway. I’ve seen things online about breaking the magnet using a drill or nail/hammer, but also about that making it “explode” sharp magnetic fragments. Is there any way to break the magnet is a less dangerous way? Any way to cleanly cut the magnet out without destroying the wood? Thanks for any help. #diy
