Why does everyone in Dubai say ‘5 minutes away’ when they’re 25 mins out?

Is this a UAE-wide agreement I wasn’t informed about?

Because I’ve never met anyone actually 5 minutes away.

"5 minutes away" = still picking an outfit

"Just parked" = looking for parking

"Here" = actually 10 mins out

Dubai time is just gaslighting with extra steps LOL
