Rentals in Dubai - Why are agents so bad here?
Genuine question - why are agents so bad here? They’re atrocious at responding and leave you on read, or they claim the price shown on Bayut/PF was an “admin error” and the price is x… some agents seem to message about the same property on 3-4 different WhatsApp numbers… and on top of that, now I’m getting spammed everyday by randoms to buy insurance, cars, investing, etc.
I’ve been here 6 weeks now and was hoping to have found an apartment by now, but it’s so hard dealing with these agents… I sort of miss the Uk where you can deal directly with the landlord… :(
Are there any websites I’m missing for apartment searching, or is Bayut/Property Finder really the only main options? I know there’s Dubizzle, but that has no map search feature and really bad filter options.
