Just got this 16” wide belt sander all cleaned up and ready to roll. It's sick. I figured out that it's the exact same model as the current powermatic 16" wide belt. The manual I got with it is almost word for word and picture for picture the same manual. The only difference I’ve found so far is that the belt size for the motor is a slightly different size. I put a solid 2 days into taking it apart, putting it back together, knocking off rust, greasing it up, replacing all the internal air tubes that were deteriorated, and calibrating everything, but there was nothing wrong with it at all. It is missing the extension support, but I can easily make one. The guy I got it from gave me a bunch of belts but they had been sitting for so long that the glue deteriorated and they snapped as soon as I turned on the machine. Ended up putting $1,000 in it. 550 for the machine, 100 for a guy to help me load and unload, 50 for a new cord and plug, 200 for 6 new sanding belts, and 100 for a new 28' dust collection hose. So $1k for a machine that costs $10k new. It runs beautifully. I'm stoked.
