truggle getting jobs because they don’t have a strong portfolio (bit of a catch 22). I understand it’s possible to get a few odd freelance jobs here and there from platforms like upwork, but what if I’m more interested in human centred design and things like design for social impact/NGOs etc. Is it stupid to try and get jobs In these industries and see Where good design can be implemented without actually having a brief. it seems overwhelming coming from a whole lot of guidance at university to now nothing.
