You guys convinced me. Got a jointer finally.
Geetech 8 inch long bed jointer. Guy asked $800 and had used it for a pvc sign business.
Even had a forklift to help me load it into my truck.
Beds need some alignment but super clean. Ordered the Grizzly helical v cutter head over the shelix since it comes with new pulley blocks. Once that comes I will finish alignment of everything.
Had to totally rearrange the shop to accommodate it but for that price (folks are asking that for 6" in my area) I think it's worth it.
Also since it's a clone of many other jointers I felt comfortable buying a machine this old.
I think shop is now complete!
