During the pandemic, movement restrictions were applied to protect public health, not to take away anyone’s freedom without reason. Nurse Angeli was allowed to leave her house because she is a frontliner — someone who performs essential duties to help others during a crisis.
Barry, on the other hand, is not performing any essential role. His freedom was temporarily limited for the safety of everyone, which is a reasonable and legal action during emergencies. Freedom must go hand in hand with responsibility, especially in times of public health danger.
