Friend or foe? Keep or dispose?

I’ve heard the Chinese mantis is invasive and the Carolina is local, I can’t figure out which species this one is. And even if it is Chinese, would it still be a net gain for my garden next year? Or will they kill all my pollinators and do enough damage that I should eliminate the ootheca now?
