Frustrated-Spent money and shop is trying to claim a defect is a "logo"
I’ve been wearing glasses for years and just spent 1800 on a pair. I’ve had to go back to the shop(a well known shop) twice and I’m beyond frustrated.
First issue: I went to collect them and found a long line on the left lens. The sales guy tried to dismiss it as "dirt," but when it wouldn't rub off, he finally admitted it was a scratch and sent them to be remade.
Second issue: they have sent me a msg that it was ready and I went back to collect the "fixed" pair and found a circular mark on the same lens. This time, he claimed it’s the "brand logo" and even fogged it with his breath to "prove" it.
I’m so frustrated because 1800 is a lot of money to spend on defective lenses.I know what lens engravings look like—they don't look like distracting circular defects in your field of vision. I feel like they are just gaslighting me to avoid another remake. Has anyone else dealt with this? I paid the amount and expected a clean lens, not a "logo" that looks like a defect. #local
