Everest base camp financial sit.
Hi everyone, I’ve been dreaming about trekking to Everest Base Camp for a while now. I used to run cross country and I’m starting to train seriously for an August goal, but as a full time college student balancing internships and coursework, the money is whats preventing me from going. From renting hiking gear, the plane ticket to Nepal and especially my time doing the EBC, its just a lot of money that my summer internship will not cover. I’m actively saving and looking into side work but I was gonna ask
• Has anyone here funded a big trek creatively?
• Any advice on budgeting or reducing costs?
• Is funding something that’s realistic for something like this?
If anyone feels moved to support, I’d be incredibly grateful but I’m mostly here for advice and wisdom. Thank you!
