Things were better in the 90s.
I am not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not and I am aware it sounds corny at this point (born in the wrong generation), but I truly believe everything was better back then. The mainstream music was better (not even getting into more underground/niche stuff). Yes, even the pop and hip-hop (we had Wu Tang, Biggie, Tupac). Rock, goes without saying. Wrestling (if you care about that). The shows on TV were better. The films were so better! People dressed more colorfully and it was more lively and fun. I feel like there was less polarization politically and socially. Things were cooler and better. As much as I hate to admit, I think we've finally come to a point of cultural retardation and I'm seeing old(er) folks who are much cooler than the young folks of today.
