After months of writing, prompting (yes, screaming in capital letters! 😅) and pouring my heart into every note, I’m beyond excited to share my new Afrikaans album — “Liefdesbriewe (Love Letters)” .
These songs are my little love letters from far away — memories, hopes, and pieces of the country that shaped me.
Each track carries its own heartbeat: the compass that guides me home, the stars over my dreams, the voices of the veld, the long road back, the pleas to hold on, and a defiant song of survival.
I didn’t leave home by choice, but nothing can ever take away the people, the land, and the stories that live within me.
“Liefdesbriewe” is my way of keeping that connection alive. 💫
