People shouldn’t say “We should just be friends” when breaking up
I get wanting to break up a relationship in a calm and respectful matter but just be upfront and say “I wish you the best for the future”, instead of “We should just be friends” if not it sets up an expectation that you still want them in your life, and that makes both people uncomfortable.
