Being a daughter of Portuguese parents but raised in South Africa, I didn't have this upbringing. So when I married into a Portuguese family, it truly was a shock for me—all the chaos, loud noises, awesome company, and great food. 100% traditional Portuguese celebration! And yes, the first couple gatherings I too wanted to go hide somewhere! I eventually got used to this environment. 😂😄
