My latest image of the Andromeda Galaxy, captured under Bortle 3 skies in India using the Seestar S50 Pro.
**Acquisition details**
* **Target:** M31 - Andromeda Galaxy * **Telescope:** Seestar S50 Pro * **Sky quality:** Bortle 3, India * **LP data:** 251 × 30s * **IR-cut data:** 458 × 30s * **Total integration:** 5h 54m 30s across both datasets
**Processing workflow**
1. Stacked both datasets using Stacking Wizard 2. Continuum subtraction using Seti Astro 3. VeraLux Hypermetric Stretch 4. Cosmic Clarity for denoising and sharpening 5. Aberration Remover
I experimented with combining the LP and IR-cut data through continuum subtraction to bring out more detail in the galaxy while maintaining a natural-looking result.
I'd appreciate constructive criticism, particularly on the color balance, dust lanes, background, and overall processing. Always looking to improve!
