Kostrych ridge, Kostrych and Kostrycha mountains, Carpathians
A few photos from our summer multi-day hike to the Kostrych ridge (Kostrych and Kostrycha mountains). We started from the Kryvopillia Pass. The ascent is easy, there are few people.
The sunrises here are magic. At the Vesnarka polonyna, we visited the shepherds. They welcomed us like family — fed us fresh banosh, treated us to bryndza, budz, vurda, and hot Carpathian tea. We ate our fill of blueberries right next to the tents.
