Pre-WWII German Paperboard Figurines of various types, mostly military, but with others as well.
My wife runs an estate sale company and we've been engaged to manage the consignment of an enormous collection of pre-war figurines, mostly Elastolin/Lineol, which we've been able to identify and can get a bead on because of a well established collector's market, but off to one side there was a single shelf of these paperboard figurines. They have great detail and are in generally great condition. Most of them are military, the client's main interest was in military bands, so he has tons of figurines of bands, arranged in dioramas of parades or concerts, which is a welcome change from battlefield scenes that we've run across when we find similar military figurine collections. But these paperboard figurines are evading my Google-fu and any help on identifying the makers, keywords to search for in collectible catalogs, etc. would be very appreciated!
