My Purple Day Awareness Post Today I learned that epilepsy is a neurological condition that affects how the brain works and can cause seizures. Itβs more common than I thought, and millions of people around the world live with it every day.
Awareness is important because many people still donβt understand epilepsy and may react with fear instead of support. By spreading knowledge, we can reduce stigma and help people feel safe and accepted.
We can support someone with epilepsy by staying calm during a seizure, making sure they are safe, and not judging them. Simple things like understanding their condition and being kind can make a big difference.
