Overstaying EU Visa
I have a Type D, Long-stay student Visa that expires on the 7th.
I had intended to stay in the EU only until the end of the semester in May, but I agreed to do research at the university through June. I planned a two week Switzerland trip which ends in me flying from Milan ->Toulouse on the 17th and then from Toulouse-> Montreal on the 18th.
What can I expect at the airport in Milan and in Toulouse? I don’t know if they’ll even check my passport in Milan but I want to know what they’ll say at the airport in Toulouse.
Tbh I’d completely forgotten that I had to register and validate my Visa upon landing and it’s been beyond the 3 months that they want you to register by upon landing
