Potty Training Regression?
Daughter is just turning three and she’s done really great with potty training. It’s been about almost six weeks where she has been wearing undies, asking to go potty, dry after naps and dry after bedtime. We literally thought it was all set! Then out of nowhere, daycare reported that she peed her pants twice in one day. Now at home, we just find her standing in a corner going #1 . She used to tell us when she needed to go. And when we set reminders, she happily goes on the toilet, gets a potty treat, every thing goes great.
It’s just so strange because it’s all been in the last couple days. She seems disappointed when it happens. We don’t yell or punish her for having an accident. I’m just wondering if this is a normal stage or common enough bump in the road with potty training.
(To my knowledge, nothing has changed in her day to day life. No life events out of the ordinary.)
