Toilet seat mounting issue: metal plate fell into narrow hole, can’t remove it?
I’m trying to replace my toilet seat, but I’ve run into a problem. While removing the old one, the metal plate from one of the bolts fell into the mounting hole. The hole is quite narrow so I can’t get the metal plate back out.
Now I can’t properly install the new toilet seat because the metal plate is stuck .
Does anyone have any idea how I could get that plate out of the mounting hole or what the best solution would be in this situation?
