The little spring that keeps this from flipping down accidentally
One annoying problem I ran into while designing this was keeping the sections locked in the upright position.
I didn't want a complicated latch, so I added a small spring mechanism printed in PETG.
It holds everything in place when it's upright, but a light push releases it when I actually want to flip it down.
It took a few iterations to get the spring force and geometry right.
Would you use a spring like this, or go with a mechanical latch instead or magnet?
