Today, while clearing out some files on my laptop, I came across a recording I made several years ago: Ave Maria by Gounod. What a wonderful surprise! π
I used to perform this beautiful piece at weddings in church, and hearing it again brought back so many precious memories of those special moments, the joyful couples, and the lovely ceremonies.
For those who may not know it, Ave Maria is a beloved sacred piece sung in Latin. The text is based on the traditional prayer to the Virgin Mary, and Gounod's version is known for its gentle beauty, serenity, and timeless elegance.
It's amazing how music can transport us back in time and reconnect us with cherished memories. β€οΈ
