If you could choose any state to homestead in, which would you choose?
If you weren’t tied down to a certain place which state would you choose for the following criteria:
* Homestead friendly (clearly)
* Regarding regulations on farm animals, buildings, zoning, etc.
* Homeschool freedom
* Don’t want the government so involved that they have to approve our lesson plans
* Decent growing season (100+ days)
* Would prefer no extreme weathers (I realize that may exclude quite a few places so I am lenient on this point)
* I’ve only ever lived in NC and love it but land prices here are on the higher side.
