A quick thought on relationship between religions and suicide
I've always wondered why so many religions (mainly Christinaty and Islam) forbids committing suicide?
The religious answer is something like that "human life is not self-owned; it is a sacred trust." Why is that so?
I thought a lot but it turned out quite simple. If you have a bunch of slaves, would you mind them killing themselves essentially you're losing profit. The same problem is with religion.
Less slaves, less power, less profit
