Foundation moisture
When we get any sort of rain, water pools here from the driveway slope. The driveway is old and the previous owner tried some sort of patching. Under the hose spool, it is dirt in 1x2 feet section for whatever reason. There is a sizable gap between the concrete by the steps and the foundation. I’ve been reading that a backer rod on and sealant will help but is there anything I should do beyond that. With heavy rain, the basement walls started to slightly sweat in the area the water pools in.
