Can I safely wire nut a sconce on a circuit with two others

We installed three sconces on our bathroom wall, but need to remove the middle sconces so we can hang a mirror. Will it be safe to just wire nut the wires when we remove the middle sconces leaving all three on the same circuit - just the middle one will be capped?
