At how many photons are we able to see light?
Im sitting in the forest and through the leaves and branches of a tree I’m able to see actual „beams“ of light. I see it like that only in a certain angle as sort of conglomerated streams - not continuous but „glimmering“ - then a gap, and then these beams again ( hope that makes sense as a visualization).
That raised the question in the title.
Also any other inputs to that phenomenon are appreciated
