AC companies recs???
Hi!
Today, I had Aloha Air come out to do maintenance on my AC unit. He was great. Actually found them from another thread on this sub.
He mentioned our compressor was broken. Our unit is 6 years old and we aren’t the original owners so no warranty. He mentioned it can get expensive to replace the compressor and may not be worth it on a unit that’s already about half lived.
Should I get a second opinion?? We hadn’t noticed any temperature issues in the house lately but he said the temp in the duct inside should be 20 degrees cooler than the house, and right now they’re the same temp.
