Hidden Leak
Something in a upstairs bathroom is leaking downstairs... I have taken the ceiling down twice and there is no visible place where it is coming from. the 2nd time it looked like it was coming from the area where the toilet sits (couldn't see the first time because it was too wet all over). took the toilet out and the wax ring looked pretty bad so replaced that as well as the toilet in case it had some tiny crack that couldn't be seen. anyway just found out it is still leaking. put up planks instead of dry wall so it lasted about 3 months before becoming visible. looking to see if anyone has any ideas we have not thought of , trying to avoid completely remodeling the bathroom/pipes. located in Florida so its already musty and humid in general
