"No spark" after 3 months

Greetings,

I am kinda devastated and confused. I (M26) have been seeing this woman (F25) for about 3 months now. We have been on 8 dates in total. In hindsight, I think 8 dates in 3 months is kinda slow, but she was rather busy from the beginning, so I had no problem with it.

For context: I am pretty new to romance and dating, as I just started dating 8 months ago.

I have planned many great dates to get to know her in different situations: museums, dining, parks, walks, picnics, picking strawberries, swimming at the lake, and so on.

At the end of every date, one of us usually asked to plan the next one. So far, so good. On our last date, I just mentioned, "Look, the weather next week is going to be great. If you have time, let me know." We hugged, kissed, and said goodbye.

We continued chatting during the week, and I was hoping for her to reach out. As a week passed, I got impatient and asked her if she was up to meet again soon. She responded with, "Yeah, sounds awesome, how about day x?" I agreed, and she answered, as always, "Awesome, I'm excited <3"

Two days later, I asked her whether she preferred idea A or idea B, and she told me, "Texting you back later :)"

And then she dropped the bomb: "I don't know how to tell you this, but I have been thinking about us, and I just don't feel any romantic sparks. You are an awesome guy, and I loved getting to know you, but I don't see us getting into a relationship [...]"

I just don't get it. Three freaking months. We held hands for hours during our walks, we kissed, and she told me once how happy she was and how much she loved spending time with me. What went wrong?

Perhaps she was already down to get more intimate. Maybe I didn't escalate quickly enough, but our logistics never allowed for any intimate moments. We both recently moved back in with our parents for some time because of our careers, so it is kinda tricky. She only mentioned once that she has a separate living area at her parents' house. She was hesitant about kissing at first, we didn't kiss until our 5th date, so I assumed she needed time.

Maybe it was something completely different, there could be a thousand other reasons. It just slightly bothers me to think my lack of sexual experience might have had something to do with it. Or maybe I am just overthinking, and I'm sad I lost an apparently great girl.
