My great, great uncle Dan Striepeke was a makeup artist in Hollywood. He worked on the original Planet of the Apes, then some Jaws movies, and was Tom Hanks personal artist, winning an Oscar for best makeup for Forrest Gump. Here he is with an ape on a smoke break!
