Removing then replacing CMOS battery cured my PC issues
I've been building PC's for many years and most have gone very smoothly. A few months ago I built a PC which ran fine for the first few weeks. It then started getting frequent BSOD's such as win32kfull.sys and NTFS.sys. Searches suggested probably a RAM problem but a full 4 pass Memtest86 run showed no errors. I reaseated the CPU, GPU and SSD but still got the same BSOD's. I even reinstalled Windows 11 with no joy. I was getting really pissed off by now but came across a post that suggested removing the CMOS battery and leaving it out for at least 10 minutes before putting it back in. Bingo! Everything now runs perfectly. I wish I had come across that post earlier. For info the specs are:
