Goldgerg was a better UFC commentater than Cormier is.
I've been watching old UFC fights with Rogan and Goldberg and man the commentary was a lot better! First thing I noticed is that Goldberg and Rogan compliment each other without interrupting each other. I'll admit that Goldberg wasn't the most technical commentator and a bit boyish, but him and Rogan really didn't try to our point each other and Mike really relied on Rogan's expert commentary as opposed to arguing, or adding on with his own MMA experience, because he doesn't have any, unlike Daniel. And that would be fine if Daniel had humility and modesty on the microphone, but he's obnoxious and childish. G&R didn't get lost talking about Petty things while really important action wasgoing on, in fact, they would intensify their testosterone based bro commentary , as they FOCUSED ON THE ACTION. Rogan and Cormier are like two bad kids in a class who can't stay focused on the topic. Not good for each other, if you will. Second thing I noticed, Goldberg really knew how to be quiet at times. When I was watching the fights between Diaz and McGregor, there was a lot of times when neither was saying anything much and really just letting the audience enjoy the Dynamics going on between the two fighters. Letting the fight speak for itself. Goldberg was damn good at bringing the intensity with Rogan, while also leaving plenty of room for Space. He also didn't try to undercut Rogan. He understood that Rogan was the man with the fighting experience, so he would just lay down observations and that would give Rogan a chance to reply and describe something more technical to the audience. That's not what happens with Cormier and Rogan, they either get lost completely or have these little ego debates about what's happening. Rogan and Goldberg didn't do that with each other. There was perfect harmony, and it was something really special! To be honest, I don't really like Daniel Cormier and he has brought out the worst in Joe. I really can't stand listening to them talking anymore. Especially after spending a couple hours listening to Goldberg and Rogan's commentary. Don't know if I can ever listen to them again. They are terrible together #sport
