help! completely clueless but want to build a gaming PC
hello everyone!
I’m sure this has been posted a million times before but I know absolutely nothing about PCs as I have been a console player my whole life. despite this, I’m really wanting to try it out. I have been doing some research but I’m still a little confused about what components I should splurge on when doing my budgeting for it.
some games I’m interested in playing would be any newer Final Fantasy game (FF7R, FF16), Marvel Rivals, Genshin Impact, Elden Ring, etc., but I would also potentially want to do some stuff for work on the PC as well. I only use Microsoft Word and Excel for my job so I don’t see this as being a huge issue.
I would ideally like to keep it below $2500 CAD. I’m in the Toronto area so if anyone has any resources they’ve used locally, that would be great.
open to any suggestions for builds or any tips for actually building it if I get there. thank you!!
