Aspen butcher block cutoffs, but what to do with them?
Are project idea requests allowed?
These are roughly 23x25" (left), 28x17.5" (top), 27.5x20" (bottom), and 12.5x25" (right).
I was thinking of a shoe bench with one of these as the top. Cat shelves? Doohickies? Besides the obvious, what *first* pops into your head when you see these? I need another project to plan and put off for 2-3 years, and my creativity is slipping lately.
Also, are these even made with glue that's safe to use as actual cutting boards? I'd knock one of those out this weekend if they are.
