⚖️ A federal judge on August 11 blocked nationwide enforcement of parts of President Donald Trump’s order that sought to use the U.S. Postal Service to restrict mail-in voting. The preliminary injunction covers the November 3 federal elections and any earlier federal election.
The order would have directed USPS to deliver mail ballots only to people on a federal eligibility list and enabled the agency to refuse ballot deliveries to states that did not cooperate with the system, according to reporting by the Associated Press and Axios.
