When I was a child, I dreamed a simple plea, For simple dreams, achievable and free. I grew up not with fortune or a golden spoon, And sadly, my mother departed too soon.
I was afraid to fight, with a troubled mind, With grief on my heart, I could not find my rest. So I gave up everything to God above, And in His infinite mercy, I found His precious love.
Life is full of surprises and I firmly take my stand, Through trials and pain, I have conquered and planned. Here I stand on top, with a humble heart, For every time I fall, I learned how to play my part.
