Boot recommendation
I currently use a pair of CMT Thiamat Mid I’ve bought 5 years ago and it’s time I retire them.
In my town there are not so many stores and some boots are in one store, another size in other store, some are only in their warehouse and I’d need to order online.
So far in my budget I’ve tried the Mammut Ducan III High gtx and they were a tad thick and quite high on the ankle.
So I plan to tour the sores and please advice me on which pair I should start:
\- La Sportiva TX5 Evo GTX - they only have one pair, and one size left - may be ar the low limit as I have never tried) .
\- La Sportiva TX4 Evo GTX - again, just one pair and a size up from TX5 - these are at another location
\- La Sportiva Trango TRK GTX - they have 2 pair with intermediate sizes
So, for an all around pair trekking with some boulders ant wet grass, mud TX5 would be the most suitable one - I mean to first try them to see if they fit?
Then go to TX4 Evo and only after that to Trango?
Maybe all of these would be an improvement over my CMP Thiamat Mid (they also have the Vibram Megagrip) but what to start the fitment with?
