Outdoor Weatherproofing and/or exterior aging brick advice?
Just moved into an older home with some aging issues. There are some holes in mortar, a few small cracks in brick, and at a couple of corners the bottom brick is crumbling. We can’t afford to have a professional out to fix it at the moment so I’m wondering if there’s a good DIY option to fill holes in the interim.
Looking for recommendations to help weather shield the home for harsher temps in the winter and just prevent bugs from getting in— until we can afford a real fix. Hoping for options that are not caulk, as the previous owner caulked holes in a few spots and it doesn’t look great.
