...what the hell is it and what's it about??
Why should you read it??
Set in a Galaxy so far away that it makes the STAR WARS galaxy seem as if it's right next door, Tyrant Star is named for a specific natural phenomena within that Galaxy.
TS is Space Fantasy/Space Opera but it has a serious edge and tone to it. it is NOT 'STAR WARS' fan-fiction.
The primary female character is a woman whom has been challenged by the fates since she was born, and was abandoned to survive on her own in a uniquely dangerous, hostile environment at three years old.
She is nothing like Rey, not even remotely.
The male characters are NOT cucktards and cuckboi types left to wallow in the wake of 'straong, stunning and brave independent wahmen'.
They are Men .
The primary male character is one I created to hold-up alongside the main female character and like the PFC both men and women will enjoy following the adventures of.
This isn't written for kids, but for Grown-Ups.
HOWEVER it's NOT Erotica. Yes, things do get 'Adult'...I figure I can go as far as Clan Of The Cave Bear and similar Mainstream works have done in the past.
The kids have STAR WARS, this is for You , so you can take a break from it all, get some escapism in that's ready whenever you are, no commercials, has NO 'Woke' in it at all, and is the kind of thing that husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends can enjoy and discuss in mutual enjoyment.
It's written for Men and Women...NOT one or the other.
What's in it for the audience?
Characters that have been developed into People, they are as 'Perfect' as their flaws allow them to be...just like us all.
The stories are nuanced, involve more complex themes and situations than STAR WARS, as this is meant for Adults. The action/fight scenes are highly-detailed and much more than just banging blades against each other with the occasional clever trick thrown in to end the stalemate.
Starship combat is not 'World War two In Space'. It's carefully balanced between 'Hard sci-fi' and 'Space Fantasy' so it's fun, exciting but has weight and grit with genuine tension.
For convenient reference think space combat as seen in 'Babylon-5' and 'Re-Imagined Batlestar Galactica' with a little bit of 'The Expanse'.
Energy Swords and 'Space Magic'...
One faction uses weapons with purely energy blades, the other uses weapons every bit as lethally dangerous, but not a purely energy blade. More than that you will have to read about.
The link is a 'teaser', a peek into the PFC, and the universe she dwells within.
The two factions most often at odds do NOT share the same source of power, each has their own and such are very different from each other.
This is not Star Wars.
If STAR WARS is a trip to the candy store, this is a Full Steak Dinner at a top-end Steakhouse.
