Athens, Rome or Naples: which is best for a solo trip?
Hello, I (20M) am from near Manchester. I have just quit my job and want to travel somewhere solo for 7–10 days in mid to late October.
I’m deciding between Athens, Rome or Naples and would like some help choosing.
I speak fluent English and a little French.
**My criteria:**
.I’m looking for a mix of city, nature and nightlife.
.I want somewhere with plenty of culture, art and history. (I’m aware that all three of these cities offer all of that, but these are the things I prioritise.)
.For nightlife, I’m not looking for Zante, Benidorm or Ibiza. More like Barcelona, Berlin or Amsterdam.
.I’d also like to be close to somewhere I could either snorkel or climb mountains.
.I’ll be travelling solo, so I’d like somewhere that is enjoyable and easy to explore alone.
.I’d also like to be able to bike around the city at night.
I have just travelled around Europe for the last month and got back this week. I went to Paris, Strasbourg, Marseille, Nice, Genoa, Turin, Milan and Bergamo, and I loved all of them.
