Motorcycle shed, confused about last layer under the pavers.
So, I had to fill up a big hole, first I put concrete waste, then sand, then sand and cement (1:3), let it harden, 3 tons of crushed stone on 11m2 and I need to fill up last 8mm before laying the pavers (35x35cm). The local concrete factory advised me putting a layer of 1:4 cement and sand mix, then pavers.
Do I put it dry or do I need to mix it into a wet mortar, like this guy (4:03) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7HvqOlOQD6s .
