Jacobabad, Pakistan hit 114°F / 45.6°C on April 27th, yet Niamey held the #1 hottest spot for 17% of the entire month while Jacobabad barely featured in the rankings until that one explosive peak.
Barrow, Alaska dominated the coldest spot for 32% of the month, which is almost a third of April.
