Last minute trip: fly into Milan or Munich?
Hi all. Planning a last minute trip to day hike somewhere in the alps this week. I don’t know much about the area and I’m not quite sure what I’ll do given it’s August but I have the week off.
My options are to fly either into Milan or Munich. From there, I plan to rent a car. Goal would be some beautiful day hikes and scenery. I’ve always wanted to see those rugged mountains we can’t see here in the states but I’m pretty sure those are all centered around the Dolomites and I bet that whole area is just in August.
Anyway, would appreciate any advice / areas to centralize myself in. I’ll probably just stay in one hotel the whole week. Open to two areas.
