Why will the current generation of gaming be remembered for?
The PS3/Xbox 360 era is often associated with the brown "piss filter," and games trying to be more gritty and edgy.
I'd say the PS4 generation was mostly defined by massive open world games with tons of map markers and side content. What will this generation be known for? My immediate reaction is the abundance of third person action games and soulslikes that have very similar light/heavy/dodge/parry/ability combat.
